Happy New Year!

Time flies. It's a old saying but also very true. This year, there weren't much news to share about Jim Carrey's career in the beginning of the year, but nonetheless, we are going to share the highlights we did have.
On January 4, Jim celebrated his birthday with close friends a little earlier. Adam Sandler, Dustin Hoffman, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Green, Bill Burr and Jeff Ross gathered together. Check our article with photos: here.
On January 17th, Jim celebrated his 62nd birthday.
Throughout this month he filmed "Sonic the Hedgehog 3". and in February it was announced that he would return to reprise the role of Dr. Robotnik in the third movie of the franchise.
On March 28th, director Jeff Fowler announched on X that filming of Sonic 3 was finished.
On April 26th, the Knuckles series premiere. Jim is not in it but the episodes set the story between Sonic 2 and 3 and we see Jim Carrey in brief scenes from the previous movie.
On May 9th Jim goes to Jeff Ross comedy show "Take a Banana for the Ride". It was the second time we saw him in public. Jim was together with Jimmy Kimmel, Jeff Ross and Seth Green. Check our article with photos: here.
On October 27th, he attends the birthday of his friend Cary Elwes. Third time we see Jim this year.
On November 14th, his sister Rita Carrey passes away.
On December 10th, he attends the London Premiere of Sonic 3. Many photos and video interviews from the event. here.
On December 16th, he attends the LA Premiere of Sonic 3. Many photos and video interviews from the event. here.
On December 20th, "Sonic the Hedgehog 3" opens in theaters in USA with the following days having the premiere in other countries. To the date of this article Sonic 3 has been a box office success. It has crossed $150 Million domestic and more than $225 Million internationally. We ae expecting the numbers to rise in the following weeks.
