If everyone in the USA would tell the pesky phone solicitors that they never order anything over the phone....then it would fail to be lucrative and they would STOP.

Here in the UK, I signed up to the Telephone Preference Service and cut out all those annoying crappy phone calls.
Who needs to waste time talking to those people when you could be doing something more useful. Like watching paint dry.

I do like watching them sometimes.
When you want to mellow...and after a few glasses of wine......they can be quite hypnotic and mind beeeeeeeeeending.

Went to the store. WHY do car dealerships put up that big huge balloon way high???

Because it's NOT like they haven't been there for 50 years.

Do they hope people will become mesmerized, "Must drive to big balloon.....must see big balloon....."???

Or is a reminder, "What am I forgetting? What is it? Damn.....I was supposed to buy a Mazda today!!"

It's ok....really.

Now I'm watching "Just Friends" with Ryan Reynolds and Chris Klein...they should have played the beginning of the movie a bit better, but I'm pleasantly surprised and DEFINITELY laughing. :lol:
