I'm glad there's kind of a "network" thing going on for you Cheryl.

there is so much in there, I am so amazed at all the
work and research Martin and others have done.
It's good to know there is a Network for Ataxia sufferers.
Thanks Cheryl for the info.

I've mild CHF (congestive heart failure) from my anemia. I need to eat well, sleep well AND exercise. I use the treadmill and feel grateful to be able to because I never forget that some people can't :(

You NEED to get meat in you. Face it Hindupollyanna, we are creatures that eat meant AND vegetables. I'll be honest, hearing that you have pernicious anemia and that you are a vegetarian...Seriously....the cow doesn't care.....

The chicken doesn't care....

The pork chop doesn't care....

...Just say, "Thank you God for this meal...." We were not deSIGNED to be vegetarian.

Spinach................it's full of iron.......and broccolli, in fact anything green.........do you have a juicer though???.........you can juice pounds of green stuff and mix with apples.........that's a sure fire way of getting the iron inside you.......other than injections and meds.............
and if the taste is bad just put a clothes peg on your nose and count to 10 as you knock it back.........

good luck Mav

fluffy

ps.....that's great news Cheryl, take care

Dont forget the power of Soymilk! Liquid Protein, vanilla, chocolate (really good, sinfully good!) makes great milkshakes too.

I had used it for a diet aid as I needed 'protein'. (Unfortunately I take medication that causes massive weight gain as side affect, but that's not really that important )

I'm so happy you have a network to help you.
