I rode my bike to work today (2 miles) and now, ladies and gentlemen, . . .I'm dead.

But but but but...I might singlehandedly be supporting the whole Oreo enterprise!!!!

Think of the profit loss and the downsizing if I quit the Oreo.

"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the Oreos I eat I feel ashamed. Then I look at the round thing and think about the workers and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't eat this Oreo, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, It is better that I eat this Oreo and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my pancreas." --- Jack Handy as quoted by mav

Oreos are bad for the pancreas?

Um...you're still putting butter on burns aren't you?

Oh boy... I feel bad now... I do not eat oreos at all...and my pancreas works fine... oh no! I am preventing people from making a living...

... but I eat my vegetables and fruits... so I do contribute to farmers here and in developing countries... :D

You got it all wrong, butter is to rub on the nose for a cold. On a burn you rub turmeric. Geez

Vegetables and fruits are good. But only organic ones where they use cow dung for manure and let the insects have their share of the tomato.

I don't actually think she expects the cow to defacate on each tomato....just that it be used as a fertilizer.

My friend and I have this ongoing contest to try to stick crappy pop songs into your head (aka earworms). He got me with this one. I thought it would be funny to put it in the "obscure stuff" thread but I didn't read all the threads first. My ADD strikes again!

Muskrat, muskrat candlelight
Doin’ the town and doin’ it right
In the evenin’
It’s pretty pleasin’

Muskrat susie, muskrat sam
Do the jitterbug out in muskrat land
And they shimmy
And sammy’s so skinny

And they whirled and they twirled and they tangoed
Singin’ and jingin’ the jango
Floatin’ like the heavens above
It looks like muskrat love

Nibbling on bacon, chewin’ on cheese
Sammy says to susie honey, would you please be my missus?
And she say yes
With her kisses

And now he’s ticklin’ her fancy
Rubbin’ her toes
Muzzle to muzzle, now anything goes
As they wriggle, and sue starts to giggle

And they whirled and they twirled and they tangoed
Singin’ and jingin’ the jango
Floatin’ like the heavens above
It looks like muskrat love

Yes, there are so many limitations, language is one of them. That is why when we are born, we have to learn to speak and move in this 3-demensional space---which is completely foreign...it's like being boxed in...ok now I KNOW I'm crazy.

It's like when you are looking in the mirror and trying to do everything backwards..it's frustrating.
