it's really hard to react to a tornado warning......becaure you're watching the news.....and it's right where your grandma is....and heading your way.
I think I'll just beat it off with a spatula.

Wow! I guess there were 20 tornados and some places really have damage. "When in doubt, tell the truth."

About 12 years ago my husband and I went to visit his parents in Iowa while they were staying in a trailor. The weather got really bad and there was strong wind and rain. They were giving tornado warnings on the tv and there we were sitting in a trailor. Then in the middle of the horrble weather my father in law thought it would be better if we tried to drive back to the house. I was so mad. We traveled by plane to get there and they wanted us to stay in a trailor with them that only had 1 bedroom. Heaven forbid they should have stayed at their house that 1 week. My husband and i ended staying at their house by ourselves while they stayed at the camp ground. And to make matters worse is that they didn't have any food in the house.

Ahhh....looks like it's going to be another lovely night of tornado watches and warnings.
The news has been telling people NOT to go drive to see the storm damage. That's funny....it's a midwestern thang. You HAVE to go see what happened....because stuff NEVER happens...and then all of a sudden. "Boy it shore ate up Steve's silo!!! You been down to the JayCee hall yet?" "When in doubt, tell the truth."
