Cockroach jewelry....

Postby quirky » Thu Mar 23, 2006 4:11 pm

They just showed this on The Today Show. Some guy has created these jewel-encrusted REAL coackroaches with metal chains that you affix to your clothing.

And then the live cockroach "bling" crawls around on you.

Perfect for a first date I'm thinking.

These were those gigantic cockroaches. Probably the hissing ones.

Paris is so little, I envision her being dragged down Rodeo Drive by her bling.

Does it come with injury insurance.
What if it runs away? Are you still insured for recovery damages.
Do you get residuals if it repopulates and makes more for distribution?

I think that's one type of jewelry I can definitely live without.

No matter how cheap it is to polish.

I won't buy them if they do their thing in my pockets.

I'm averse to animal droppings ever since a kitten did it on me....but I'm deviating.

BUt they could be crushed alive if I mistake them for my snickers bar.
This in turn would crush my efforts to become a vegetarian...Do they have potato bling?

I think cockroches have gotten a bad rap..... Everyone loves to hate the cockroach. Geez, what the heck is wrong with being a cockroach, ladybugs and butterflies get all the attention. Civil Rights for insects?

Oh please! That's no new here.
There are insects here that call us "Makech". They're beetles, their color is like sand and eat wood.
They are cleaner and more harmless than the cockroaches.
But, now, there are almost few because the handcrafts salesman put on them fantasy jewels and little chains and sell them to the turists.

It's a stolen idea, I think.

(I wrote a few minutes ago the makech mayan legend, but I don't know why, my message couldn't send :? )
I try late.

My first ever night on American soil, staying on campus at Columbia University, NYC.......I woke up in the morning to see a cockroach sat on my pillow right next to my head.   It was just sat there, staring at me (at least I think it was staring at me) and I totally freaked. I have never gotten out of bed so quick in my entire life!

There's a butterfly emporium not far from where I live and every March Break they put on a bug-feast.....they serve ants, beatles and the likes candy coated or sprinkled on ice cream and then you get a sticker that says something along the lines of, "I've eatten bugs at the Butterfly Emporium"
Imagine.....
