Hm. We have 70 degree weather today....which is kind of unheard of here. There's a tornado watch and storm warning, too.

It HAS to be global warming. I used to believe the naysayers, but how can you not believe it when it's tangibly happening? Buddha says, you can't.

The weatherman last night said, this was the beginning of Spring which is also the season for tornados. No it wasn't. When I was little, we didn't worry about tornadoes in the Spring. We worried about tornados in the summer. Mid to LATE summer. I can remember at least two occasions when my whole family went down into the East (I think) corner of the basement of the hardware store.

So, I'm going to go intot he living room and watch the Nobel Peace Prize concert and wait.

Shoot. Tornado warnings.

I just heard the loudest thunder I've ever heard in my life.

I'll never forget my family 'roadtrip' through the midwest. We all decided to rent a minivan and take one final family vacation to visit relatives in Chicago/Indiana. It was my turn at the wheel; mom, dad, brother and daughter were snoozing (Chevy chase moment) when suddenly the news indicated a twister was approaching the interstate. I freaked out. Apparently so did everyone else on the freeway. The minivan had a lot of horsepower. Scariest hour of my life. Twister was visible, but far enough away it was really dangerous. Close enough to say, yep.... thats a twister. Helen Hunt moment.....

I think the local weather guys are excitable, because they get to break into every commercial break and tell us where the storm is now.

It snowed in the Salinas Valley and the Santa Cruz mountains last night, I went up to Pinnacles and came back with a snow sculpture on the top of my car. One of the park rangers said he had NEVER seen this much snow here. It looked like Tahoe, it was totally incredible. Did anyone else hit the snow in California this week-end?

Wow....Remind me to watch the ten o'clock news. I guess there are floods and an overturned semi on the highway AND two counties are under a tornado warning. Not mine...but,....

We're experiencing a warm snap. But also the thunder is starting to come
so if I am suddenly off the computer you'll know the electricity went out.
Lots n lots of rain predicted.
Also high rivers up here too. Everything is melting.
In the words of the wicked witch the snow says"I'm melting, I'm Melting"
