Ever had hospital food as a patient? My father is not handling it too well, and neither did I when I was a patient (you might as well call it incarcertion, I mean where you going to go) But they let you choose you meal, multiple choice with 3 selections! Ooooh goodey.
Now, Fluffy- dying in a hospital... I can relate to that one. Hospital and jail reform. Both can be the longest experience of your life, and the food is equally as bad. (I know this cuz its what I do for living) And you wonder why both are costing the taxpayers a fortune. Go back and revist the California special election- we have a real problem in our state. But their salaries are always at issue. But what about service?
I never was a patient, but my sister yes, and she told me what the food is really bad , and the only thing good its the jelly (yes is true jimenem) ; jell-o its the only good

Hi! I worked in a hospital like nursing student.. I was young..
however I love eat at university "mensa" of Pisa.. And it not costs a lot for a student : about 2,5 euro for a launch or a dinner. Hi from central Italy..not too far from Pisa.
I have to admit, once I was hosptalized (I have a disorder, and sometimes my eating is affected (as well as sleep) -drastic weight loss or gain occurs, the doctor wanted me to speak to a nutricianist) That was the only hospital that actually had decent food. Since I had not eaten in four weeks, with counselling a loving care I was nursed back to health. I will always love that place, and the patients for their support.
I wanted to add, after that visit I became a voracious reader of medical journals (specifically related to mental illness and I always thougt it was a body illness as the brain controls the body; if the mind is sick the body will also be affected - lungs, breathing, respiratory, heart, kidneys, liver; everything shuts down/or speeds up as my blood pressure reached an all time high of 180 beats resting; it can be pretty scary if your alone. I discovered Dr. Kay Jameson leading authority on Manic Depression and was blown away, Bipolar illness is seasonal and predictable like the flu. That was soo cool. I spent 20 years trying to figure out what was wrong with me and suddenly four years ago I finally got the answer. What a relief, so many hospitals and doctors; medications and viola there she was. Dr. Jamison is one of my heros' I am not competely bipolar but my disorder is related and that soothed my soul. Like a warm blanket. I also discovered it was genetic and runs in the family. I traced my family and there it is. I don't fear it anymore. I embrace it as a gift from God. We light up like Christmas trees, but our downs/depressions are very serious and should never be taken lightly. Highs/low are in constant fluctuation. We are hard to live with if you don't understand the disorder. The feelings are real, albeit they my be irrational but the client is unable to control them on their own. Like diabetes or heart condition. You can't even do a brain scan MRI on Bipolars it does't register; however schizophrenics do the grey matter is scarred as the disease takes over the brain. The person is a victim of the disease, they should be respected as any illness that's life threatening.

I hate hospitals in general; I always get very depressed in them. I was drunk in one the other day and flirting with this chick with fine legs, but of course nothing happened. Anyways, I'm digressing now folks. Take care of your dad bunny, give him plenty of vitamins, I'm far too leery of those goddamn hospitals.
Yeah I have had hospital food and it was not a plesent experience.

I endured hospital food for a six week stint once. As if it wasn't bad enough that the standard of cuisine was low....I got absolutely sick to death of the repetition of the menu. In the end my family used to bring me in packed lunches! Lol. And the nursing staff let me have an Indian takeaway once night. Bless them all.
Everybody should believe in something.
I believe I'll have another coffee!
