I used to have a good Spanish accent when I was at school, but I can't do it now.
My american is appalling, as is my French. Although it's not foreign, I'm trying to perfect a Brummie accent, and did a great job the other day - it's getting better! ![]() Muse - 10, 11, 14, 22 & 23 November 2006

My 'North American' is not so bad (though you note I won't define myself to particular area/state!!). I once went out for a whole evening and pretended to be an American and no-one challenged me. (The fun you have sometimes...)
I think I have a feel for Australian. Have been accused (that is probably not the right word, is it? ![]() And I'm practising my cockney because I think it's a fun accent to do. Everybody should believe in something.
I believe I'll have another coffee! ![]()
Gosh, I struggle with English- And I was born in the US. I am forever switching words and messing up names. I start talking too fast and my nouns and consenants get tangles up! (Brain goes faster than my mouth) I love to listen to accents, but forget me ever speaking them. I learned French in school, I can read it... but speaking (God help us all)
i do a great north dakota accent (think: fargo) no, it's not "foreign" to me but it's quite an accent none the less
my brother and i used to practice all kinds of accents...mainly english, french, german, scandanavian, indian and scottish..quite fun...now i mainly just talk to my dog in different accents or when i'm goofing around with friends ![]()
