Would you tell your reporter to enter a building which had a couple of stories on fire? I don't think you would. :-k

Why, then, is it OK to send Sally Sunshine, the most innocent ,littlest -who- -in- Whoville -looking, intrepid reporter out in a station truck to chase tornadoes????

WHAT is it, exactly that you are hoping for?? "This is little Sally Sunshine broadcasting from the vortex of the cyclone...please tell my family I love them."

Can we have a moment of silence for Common Sense, because they take a live remote truck which costs hundreds and thousands of dollars out to some barren stretch of highway to tell us it's SNOWING. And that conditions are slippery treacherous and you should stay home!!!

And the recent hurricanes have provided us with lots of scenes of people being blown around by the winds. Is this neccessary? If I was a reporter and my news director said, "We're sending you to Florida to report on the hurricane." I would say, "From INSIDE right??? Because I'm not ready for death by projectile coconuts."

OK...end of rant. ](*,)

Okay moment of silence has just ended.....

You have a point there quirks.
But they see it as who has the bigger story-wich is wrong-
Reporters like being in the scenes-

As a child, I was a bit of a Tom Boy. I wonder where that term came from....technically, wouldn't Tom Girl be more apt?

Anyhoo....I was fascinated with frogs and I got to catch plenty of them around the neighborhood. I thought they were just so cute.

My mom finally started checking the pockets of my jeans after she found a very dead (but really clean) leopard frog sticking to the side of the washer drum.

I don't think I'd actually kiss a frog... unless I was being paid.

I am getting really tired of the sumo chickens Pepsi commercial.

This morning I paid attention to a commercial. Just kind of shaking my head as it aired. Pringles PRINTS? They have put trivia questions ON each Pringle. So you can learn while acquiring your high blood pressure.

What's next? "The Iliad" on your Pop Tarts?

I was just watching a horror movie. I had to discontinue....not because the monsters and goblins are too scary, but because the characters exhibit such unbelievable stupidity.

After work, the character walks up to her front door....she notices it is ajar and some things are in disarry.

HERE'S THE PIVOTAL MOMENT:

Does she use her cell phone to call the police?
Does she go to a neighbor's house to call the police?

c) None of the above. For some reason she decides that if she cautiously enters the home....the danger is not there.

And she, I'm sure, got eaten by a monster or killed by the thing in her house....but I have a problem having much empathy for her because THAT IS REALLY STUPID
