I'm sure that Jim had no intentions of ever trying to insult anyone including followers in the Hindu religion.

Looking at how it was portrayed and with the lack of knowledge about this Lord (me), I see where a lot of people would be offended.

ok. this is just negative press. That show was obviously shown to all types of religious/ethnic people/groups. With an audience that big, he's/they're going to offend someone.

Take Ricky Gervais and Russell Brand. . . even his new wife Katy Perry. They're offending people more than Jim does. WHO CARES?

can we move on? The next thing Jim does is he'll be offending every other animal in both of the artics for only doing a movie with Penguins. The Polar Bears, seals, killer whales, and emperor penguins will be writing nasty notes to the director of the movie for not including them in the film MR POPPER'S PENGUINS.
