That's because of a breach in the space/time continuum.

I went to the beach in Carmel yesterday...yes terday....I was there, it was Saturday actually, maybe the spacetime continumn breach did you say...lol
anyway I walked very fast down the beach, dressed in all black...but in a sleeveless top because it WAS getting hot....here i was looking at all the people dressed in beach clothes...and I didn't fit in...but was happy with it.....I walked all the way to the rocks, etc...and over those to a little small beach, I was like alone except there were some spanish fishermen...I was tired, looking for solitude...so I layed down...the beach was small so I was up against the headlands really...there was a great slope to the sea....looking down at the great vastness of the ocean...she's alive I tell you....the great movement...closing my eyes I could feel her...so much water we have on this planet...such a great expanse of water....covering, moving between the rocks like great fingers......the water planet...so beautiful...we will never lack...and here I was on the edge, looking down...the sand so so fine and white (well all colors if you look closely)....wow....it started getting hot and I left...then later I thought of a picture...the water was up close...all glittering like fish scales in the forefront... then the view moving down in 3-D behind it...the view of the sloping sand into the sea....it's ok if you can't imagine it (because it's mine...lol)
