I spent the day with my dad. He barbequed for me for Father's Day. He said he wouldn't be a father without me so he spoiled me today... he wouldn't let me do a thing for him.

Actually I think I am mourning this week. Mourning the lack of free time on my hands as I swat for interviews.....

Interview 1 is for a Registration Officer (recording births, marriages deaths, performing civil ceremonies etc)
Interview 2 is for a 'Development Opportunity' ie, my Manager's job as she's just resigned. Temporary (though on-going) contract to run our dept. Big money, much hassle & not quite where I saw my career going. But I'd be mad not to give it a shot.

I think prefer option one, all things considered.
