Actually, I'm pensive about the fact that my bedroom is ALWAYS messy.

It's true...ever since I was wee.

I'm cleaning it today...and I really MUST tie it into my housecleaning regimen...putting winter clothes away and getting out spring ones.

I don't have a dresser yet, but that's just a lame excuse...

I need to keep up instead of putting off...the rest of my place stays clean...so what is the mental block with my bedroom?

As for bedrooms. I dunno.
Perhaps it's because it's the one room that visitors are less likely to see?? You don't feel the urge to keep it so spick and span?

I think that's part of it. What I really NEED to do is make it nice. Cozy, fengspree, then I would rest better.

I empathise. I need to clear out clothes. I do not have enough storage for them all and they end up piled up on the rocking chair, or even on the floor under the window. It's not good. I need to motivate myself for the job and be ruthless.

My house is too small.

Yeah...now I'm pathetically puffed up at the idea I've located all my sock pairs. Like...I should get a Pulitzer Prize for housework or something.

Well, quite frankly, I take my hat off to you. I've never managed to achieve that feat in this household. The number of odd socks we have is just baffling. How does that happen? Where do they go? I have searched for them and I swear they are no longer in the local vicinity.......

I believe the dryer eats them and they wind up unrecognizable in the lint trap.

That's one theory down the pan. We don't have a dryer.

I do my small bit for the environment!

Personally I think the white socks, the grey socks and the blue socks are indulged in some kinda wife swapping ring and some of them have ran off with their non colour-coordinated partner.......
