Here is where you discuss everything under the sun, just keep it clean.

Is it the price of fame?
Is it the inability to see the world through the eyes of a normal person?
What makes hollywood celebrities feel that rules don't apply to them?
Why does fame and fortune give you license to live in gluttony?
What happens to your soul, when money runs through your veins like water through a tap?
Isn't it ridiculous the way celebrities live? How many cars do you need to feel like you're cool and popular? How many wild parties do you have to attend, to feel like you're reached a high status in life?
How much square footage does your home have to be to ease the pain of a difficult childhood?
Why can't you be rich and down to earth? Is that like an oxy-moran?
Why can't you use your money, and build a hospital in the Third World? Is it too expensive? How much was your tab for your wild weekend in the Poconos?
Why does fame equal sex, drugs and rock n'roll? Why is that cool if you're famous and lethal if you're Joe Nobody?
Curious? Intrigued?
Stay tuned for the next installment of questions for life in Excess Hollywood.
Signing off,
Dr. Fil

This is precisely why I don't watch tv anymore... Everytime I watch either Entertainment Tonight or Access Hollywood I feel like stabbing my tv set! lol

You don't stab the TV: you handle the frustration, you stab the TV...it dies...either way, you lose.

Slash has 100 guitars...what do you do with 100 guitars?...I hope he's not reading this. No. he wouldn't be. I guess he plays them....and they're much nicer than cars in my opinion. yeah, if I were famous, I guess all the parties and high life would be tempting. I guess it is at first, until if ever you settle into your fame. So many cool people to hang out with.

Slash has 100 guitars.
I have hundreds of little animal statues. My grandpa collected them.
Because Slash has lots of guitars doesn't mean he doesn't also give to charity.
Why do we feel we have a right to expect things, personally, of our celebrities? They earn the money....they have a right to spend it however they want.
The way things are now, even if you're the boy or girl next door, celebrity demands a lot of people already.

It's not about giving to charity. I really don't give a rat's ass if a celebrity makes an annonymous 1 million dollar cheque to charity once a month. It means nothing -- it's just publicity. Or perhaps, eases their conscience.
What I find perturbing, is the lifestyle. If you give millions to charity, but blow millions on an extravagent lifestyle, does that make it okay? I'm sure they would like to think so.
Do you really need 100 guitars? Does Justin Timberlake need 400 pairs of running shoes?
Do you really need a stipper's pole in your hotel room, with the revolving bed, and 4000 square foot bathroom?
And many people will say, who cares? it's their money -- let them spend it on whatever they want. It's not about needing 400 pairs of running shoes, it's about buying them because you can.
It's hypocritical. The celebrity lifestyle is hyopcritical and superficial.
Celebrities also feel longevity is defined by botox and collagen. Is that the kind of message we should be sending out to our children? What happened to passion and perseverence -- isn't that what defines longevity? Not in L.A., apparently!
Be careful what you wish for, folks! There's nothing wrong with having lots of money. It's what you do with it that counts. And how you live your life.
The truth shall set you free.

This actually sounds kind of fun.
