Has everyone seen this? Oh my gosh it is putting me through such a range of emotions. It's wonderful, but also REALLY thought-provoking.

Absolutely SEE this. It is so honest and well-paced, ironic, humorous slightly sometimes...overall I'm seriously putting this on the "Best Movies" list that doesn't exist.

It is not predictable and there are quite a few scenes where you are knees to chin under the blanket chewing your cuticles.

I really liked it. It sticks with you for months after you see it. It was a slice of reality film, no happy endings, just real people in real life situatiions. Kind of a mirror of society and the hyposcrisy of racial profiling... very intense! People either love or hate this movie. I've never met anyone who's seen it that thought it was "just OK"

I saw this film a month or three back. Wasn't that bothered about it, but got railroaded into it by my mate who insisted I watch it. And I have to say it absolutely blew me away. Fantastic film, IMHO.
I was really pleased to see it get the main Oscar. I know people have been moaning about that after the event, but I had my fingers crossed for it.

I love the individual stories. The interactions. The emotions and beliefs of the characters and how they changed. Thought Matt Dillon was amazing and I never really liked him much beforehand. And Thandie Newton too.

The movie makes you sit and chew the fat for ages after you stop viewing and I was left completely absorbed in all the stories.

You must go see it JCO.....

This movie was amazing ... the best part was *Spoiler* When dude saves the girl he harrased from the car. That was intense. She Was like "Get away from me" And it was sooo sad.. then when he got her out.. she was crying in his arms... i get shivers just thinking about it.

I think you have so many emotions with that Officer Ryan character, or at least I did. You hate him, then you empathise a little......

Spoiler.....the DA getting carjacked. Hearing Ludacris complaining about how the white lady reacts to them and then the carjacking...funny and deep at the same time.

Ryan Phillipe did a great job, too.

I thought 'Crash' was good, realy good. But not because of the subject matter. Subtile? Not at al. They were rubbin' it in, pushing it trough the troath. I liked the movie because of the fact that it simply had me in the emotional way. Amazing song 'In the Deep'. And I liked the way they putted all the stories in one, the end result was an emotional dip. But all the things about racisme... more subtile handling please.

Now I'm watching "Hustle and Flow".

But I have that Winn Dixie movie if these sociologically important ones make me feel worse than usual.

Hustle and Flow. Not gonna be everyone's ideal subject matter but what an interesting film. Terrence was flipping awesome!

The scene (in Hustle & Flow) with Terence Howard and Ludacris in the bar when they are getting drunk together was riviting. I really think that Terence Howard is going to be the next Denzel. He is really a great actor.

I watched Crash last night and loved it... it is thought-provoking... emotions just burst out of the movie... I keep thinking about Sandra's character, Jean, in the movie... at some point the movie could go without that little git at all... but then, she is an illustration of what our society is becoming... (well, the whole movie is...) ... she is there in need of someone, a friend, a hand, but she cannot find any... until Maria helps her in a very simple and human gesture... here is an example of the unconditional love we were talking about in another thread...
