ELVIS

Postby Canadian Jayne » Fri Mar 03, 2006 7:58 pm

i though since Jim likes Elvis that maybe we should talk a little about
Elvis.
I just bought some Elvis music and borrowed an autobiographical book,
I was going to go to bet early, but I got caught up in the book.

Did you know Elvis was a twin???

His twins name was Aaron, and Aaron was Elvis' middle name.

I love Elivs' music and it pleases me to think Jim likes Elvis. Particullarly I liked his mid 70's concerts. His voice just got better and more mature all the time. But near the end although fighting with his weight and drugs he could still be the best.

Elvis was the person that changed our music forever. From his start in the fifties till his death in the 70's he was in the army twice, in over 30 films and his concert in hawai was televised all over the world and was watched by over 1 billion people.

Yeah. The best book I've ever read about Elvis is "If I could Dream," or something like that. The author is E's old friend/spirtual adviser. He lived a wild life. He was always searching for God; even when they discovered his body, Elvis's fist were clinched to a book his friend provided for him.

Another interesting thing about the book is the author's friend was Jay Sebring--a famous hair stylist from L.A. that was one of the people murdered by Charles Manson's geeks at 10050 Cielo Drive .
