Are scary !!
So during the date you are making a mental pros and cons list....
...and I'm thinking that if little mannerisms start to bug you...this probably is not "the one".
I mean, I'm not Miss America...but I haven't reached the place where I ought to just be happy someone wanted a date.
I need, like, dating fairies.
I feel like a salmon, trying to swim upstream.

I ate a salmon today. I'm glad it wasn't you.
Yeah, if there wasn't the slightest connection it would be scary. Still, a second date might be more comfortable and ensure a better decision.
I'm glad you are atleast coming out of your shell, er, I mean swimming in open waters.

Yeah, perhaps a second date is the better date for deciding, you'll have already done the awkward initial questions and stuff.......and if he's not relationship material perhaps he will be a possible good friend??

blind dates never worked for me....
I found myself sitting in a camero at a gas station within the first 5 minutes of a blind date....the space between myself and the driver was far to close for comfort and the silence was deafening......Finally this poor guy got up the nerve to turn and look at me and then he says, "you have the most beautiful eyes" To which I instinctively responded by looking at him, smiling and promptly crossing my eyes and said "thank you".
Imagine.....

Last night's parting words were : "I still love your face."

Yes. And there was just NO chemistry, you know?
I had an open mind that it would be ok...and it wasn't THAT bad...but I cannot fake the frisson that between two people who have an attraction.

I might do it, depending on the reference, and if it were with friends, because it doesn't have to be serious, just to meet new people. But then it wouldn't be a date, so I'd have to say no. That sounds too serious. And I wouldn't do it if I didn't know the person from anywhere, under any circumstances.

I live dangerously.
I just trust nothing bad's going to happen to me. And it was an educational experience.

JCO where education comes first (hand) ...some of my experiences were too dangerous and hence very educational....Quirky, I wish my trust was as powerful as yours. Please think of yourself first - then get down to the fun part of living life.

What would be the job description to being Jim's Dating Fairy...
I would be kinda fun to be a Dating Fairy for Jim...
Do a big search for the right kinda girl for Jim...
Sounds like alot of Fun, fun, fun
You know you'd have to have a real good interview with Jim to know
exactly what he wants in a date?
Would he submit to such female information extrication.

Be safe quirky. I so think the guy was looking for *ahem* short-term gains.
CJ, good thought. We can organize a 'Bachelorette' for him....lol . Oh, it's a show on tv here, quite interesting.....
