Thanks for not calling the cops when I turned up at your door,
scattering stolen jewels and gems across your kitchen floor. In all the years I've known you, you've been a terrific friend, discouraging my wayward plans, trying to keep me on the mend. Alas they got me in the end and now I'm off to jail, but I do appreciate the fact you tried to get me bail. The judge was cruel, the jury unfair and my defence was bound to crash, but if you keep the prison visits up I tell you where I hid the stash! Everybody should believe in something.
I believe I'll have another coffee!
