... there was a solar eclipse several days ago... but I've never heard about a solar thingy???!!!

yeah i saw it........*claps excited hands*........but the sun was really strong so we had to punch a hole in some paper..........
better than the full eclipse a few years back when we were covered in cloud and didn't see a thing..........lol

I went down to Plymouth to see the full eclipse in 1999, it was amazing ...,realy spooky...it was pretty light right up to 99% totallity then it was like someone turned the switch off , the thousands in the crowd hushed no birds flew, silence fell...it was like the end of the world....then the light was switched on the crowd cheared ..it was realy emotional I didnt think I was gonna feel like that.
