What do you think about makeup?

I was mystified at the mall. So many kinds of makeup. How many colors are there, brands, and the price? EEeek! I don' usually wear it but I find it so amazing, the cosmetic industry is a lot of smoke and mirrors. This year 'bold' colors, next year matte, then frosts/gloss etc. No wonder its a big business it keeps changing, like sheep we follow along. Yes master. Who's driving thing?

Fashion........money.......greed...etc etc........lol..........but i confess i'm totally addicted to the stuff........although i don't actually wear that much.......i just like buying it and playing with it..........lol.......it's like painting........

I dont wear any kind of makeup atall really.. if im going out some where special i try stick some eye liner on but thats it.. i look really stupid when i have makeup on.. i think i look beter without it lol..

I look like a clown in makeup so I never wear it, once in a while lipgloss and eyeshadow, but that's it

Well... I think I was born wearing lipstick... cannot live without it...

My everyday makeup consists of sunscreen powder (summer or winter), eyeliner, teeny tiny bit of mascara and lipstick, of course!

au natural..... but on occasion I will put some blush on...

i never where make-up, i don't really know how to apply it, i don't like things to close to my eyes, its a nightmare if i have to put eye drops in my eyes, so any kind of eye make-up is out of the question. my sister is addicted to it, she is always wearing it, i remember when i was little she would try to put it on me and i would start screaming. so maybe i have a make-up phobia of some kind.

I never used to wear any make up, but I guess as the pass 30 you become open to offers to keep some kind of appearance up.

I'm crap with make up, but a knowledgeable mate got me into mineral make up, which is quite frankly a revelation! Keeps it natural (which is what I want), good for the skin, no gloopy liquids and can be as subtle or glamourous as you want. Perfect for a cosmetic amateur like myself.

But if each JCO'er were stranded on a desert island with only one cosmetic......I'd have to have mascara. My eyelashes are too pale......

Sometimes, I don't wear make-up.
When I do-its just undereye concealer (for dark circles) and lip gloss or chapstick.

I wolud have thought more of you would wear make-up pretty much every girl i know wont go out without make up on... its surprising to hear that people dont worry about it so much on here
