You what!? I'm sooooo jealous!! I've alwyas wanted to meet her! Did you get to talk to her? What's she like?? I've never met anybody famous (that I'm aware of). I've seen Billy Grahm in person though.

i saw Billy Graham too.......lol......we went out of nosiness and when he asked the believers to go onto the football pitch we were left in the stands........a handful of us........lol..we felt like devil worshippers.......lol. fluffy Fluffy
Working in the music industry, I had many encounters with rock stars and famous people.
I've also had literal "run-ins" with celebrities. I've walked into actor Robert Stack leaving a restaurant whilst the sun was in my eyes; I accidentally hit singer Chris Isaak in the chest with my purse; I walked headfirst into Sam Elliot at a Wille Nelson show; Magic Johnson stepped on me in the green room at Jimmy Kimmel Live (I was sitting low, he didn't see me); Josh Frees, (drummer for the Vandals, Guns N'Roses, DEVO) fell down a flight of stairs and fell on me with a lit cigarette, burning my hand (I still have the scar). I also have firends who are TV stars and movie actors. Walking around with them is like a mobile freak show. The things people say and do to get a celebrities attention! I've been on both sides of that fence, it's far weirder to be on the celebrity side. I know I've made a complete ass in front of certain people (Steve Martin), but when you watch other people do it, you want to say, "Dude! Get a grip! You're actin' a fool!"
I met Michel Gondry... well, I exchanged a few words with him but I don't know if I can say that I really "met" him... ... He was nice and casual...

Well, I've met a lot of celebs, but I don't think any of my meetings would qualify as accidental. Anyway, I sort of have a funny story involving a celeb. My friends and I had just attended one of his concerts, and were invited to hang out with him and the band afterwards. We all filed into a loud, crowded bar, and word immediately began to spread that he was there. Included in the group of invitees from the concert was a fan who was basically dressed like a look-a-like. Anyway, we were sort of hanging back from the celeb a bit (cause he was already being approached by people in the bar) when this guy in the bar wandered up to the look-a-like and started confessing how much he liked his music and basically started gushing all over him, thinking he was the real thing. The look-a-like fan (a seemingly nice guy who wasn't intentionally trying to fool anyone) looked bewildered, and my friends and I started giggling to ourselves, wondering how long it would take this guy (who was definitely under the influence of alcohol!) to figure out that he was gushing over the wrong person. The real celeb was so close by (I could actually see both of them at the same time out of the corner of my eye), so that made the whole situation even funnier to watch. Anyway, eventually the guy figured it out or we had to tell him, I forget which (I think we actually had to tell him, lol... he must have been pretty drunk, lol...), but poor dude, I don't know if he ever got to meet the real celeb, cause things were so crazy in there that we had to leave very soon after that.

Oh yeah. I made a comment about paying my student loans and the fact that education is really costly nowadays. He said, "Yes, but look where it got you." I didn't go on telling him I haven't finished a degree and I hadn't used a whit of college education on any of the shows. "When in doubt, tell the truth."

I probably have but didn't realize until later.I'm not out looking, they've probably passed me by and I didn't know it,
until I reflected later, Hey, that may have been so and so.
Each time I visit my brother in London I keep my eyes peeled for a quality-celeb-spot, but all I get is endless politicians...
I see minor celebs locally as they appear at the theatre on tours. Oh, and I did see the top of Bill Clinton's head in the summer of '92 when he was on his Presidential campaign! I think it was in Dallas. Everybody should believe in something.
I believe I'll have another coffee!
