Thursday 5 shoot update
06 Apr 2001 As Ferndale Fritz told us previously, Thursday's filming on "The Majestic" was mostly done at the Masonic Lodge, and here's the update he sent on that day's work:
«Thursday's filming was almost exclusively the town council meeting. Harry & Pete were put right at the top of the agenda when they walked in. Pete announced that restoring the Majestic was going to take a lot of work, and asked permission to scrounge around town for things he might need..paint, brushes, lightbulbs, etc. The council agreed to support the project, with the condition, rather wryly put in by one of the members, that no city monies be spent. Townsfolk were also asked to volunteer to help.
It was a brief scene, perhaps 3 minutes long at most, all shot indoors at the Masonic lodge, but there were many, many takes all day long.»
