Jim Carrey guides illustrator for "How Roland Rolls"
18 Apr 2013 By Tommy Pihl (JCO Editor-In-Chief)
Last month at the press junket for "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" Jim Carrey revealed that he has written his first children's book, titled "How Roland Rolls". It's a story about a wave named Roland who's afraid that one day when he hits the beach, his life will be over. But when he gets deep, he's struck by the notion that he's not just a wave, he's the whole big wide ocean.
In a new photo you can see Jim unfold his visions for the book. Jim guides illustrator Rob Nason (Thumbelina, Saltwater Taffy) during a tele-creative session in how to create Roland's countenance.
GATE founder John Raatz is leading and project managing the publication of "How Roland Rolls." The book is expected to hit stores in September.
