Late Show with David Letterman
16 Jun 2011

By Priya Baboota (Web correspondent)

Jim Carrey was the guest on 'Late Show with David Letterman' which was aired on June 15th, to promote his movie "Mr. Popper's Penguins" releasing tomorrow on June 17th in U.S theatres.

He made a very dull and glum entry when he was introduced by Letterman for the first time and said that something is just not right about this and he wants to do it again because he is a perfectionist. So, he went backstage and David introduced him again for the second time. This time Jim Carrey started singing and made a very happy and exciting entry.

During the show, Carrey also copied Tom Hanks story about how his dogs were being skunked. But, he denied and said Hanks probably stole it from him. When Letterman showed him the clip of Tom Hanks saying the exact same story 2 years ago, Jim had a very embarassing look on his face and said to him that it can happen to anybody and its a co-incidence that it happened with two A- list celebrities.
