Juno Awards

Postby Kaat » Sat Apr 01, 2006 5:17 am

So Canada's version of the Grammys (the Junos), is happening in my hometown this weekend... any other JCO members from the Maritimes? Just curious. Anyway, the live show is Sunday night and Pamela Anderson is hosting. She's going to be at the mall tomorrow signing autographs at a MAC cosmetics store. Ohhh, how I wish Jim was attending... or better yet, HOSTING (and appearing at the mall!!!)... I mean, he is a music fan, right? ;) Oh well. He has a good voice, too... as host, he could kick the night off with a musical number of his own... now THAT I'd like to see!! :)

I'd love to see Jim attend more Canadian events as well.

I wonder why he doesn't?

Well, I guess they do have seat fillers for a reason (people whose job it is to sit in seats if VIPs get up and leave in the middle of the show so it doesn't look empty)... award shows *can* be pretty boring at times. I never thought about the sex at home part though, lol...

I guess with his busy lifestyle, it would have to be something that really interested him, or maybe involved a close friend or family member. I just thought of Jim for the Junos because he and Pam are apparently the two most powerful Canadians in Hollywood (he was ranked #2 and she was #1 on a list I read online somewhere), so I just figured, hey, if Pam would come up here to do it, why not ask Jim next year? But I couldn't blame him if he turned it down. Still, if he ever wants a change of pace between movies, I'm sure he would be great at it...

Yeah, same here!! I'd need help picking out a gown, though (and someone to do my hair) :)
