i met the guys that will meet Jim!!!

i had the chance today to attend a lecture from Neal Scanlan and Joss William about special effects. if these names don't ring a bell to you, Scanlan is an expert in animatronics and oscar-winner Williams is doing special effects! they both have worhd in many movies including "Sleepy Hollow" and " Charlie and the chocolate factory".
In a brief discussion that i had with them after the lecure and the show they told me amongst others that they will be in charge in " Believe it or not"! You can imagine my face when I heard that..
"What? the one with Jim Carrey"???
"Yes that one"!
"I am a big Jim Carrey fun! do your best"!!!
"Jim Carrey will..twist"!-smiles-
"I am sure you will do great job".
"Thanx"!
They seemed to me-especially Williams- nice guys, i hope they will keep doing the good work!

thats exicting.....u probably should asked them if u could go w/ them and say that u wanted to learn from them. that way u got to see or meet Jim and know the ways of special-effects.

apart from the "Jim" excitement there were a lot of interesting things i learned about movies and generally it was pretty cool! but it is not that cool like being in JCO!!!
