My grandma used to oil paint...she watched that guy on PBS and just kind of picked it up herself although she and I did a few classes together when I was 10-13.

My grandfather, I remember would paint by numbers at the desk. He was always a little jealous and he wished he could really paint. He did Blue Boy and Pinkie and to THIS day, the only paintings hanging in her living room are my grandfather's. Blue Boy is above the sofa.
