the meaning of the fool-

As a card, the Fool ultimately stands for a new start. When it turns up the Querent might be about to make a move, not just to a new home, but new job, new life. There's more than just change, renewal, and a brand new beginning in the Fool, there's also movement, a fresh, exciting new time.
the Fool is also the card of infinite possibilities. The bag on the staff indicates that he has all he need to do or be anything he wants, he has only to stop and unpack. He is on his way to a brand new beginning. But the card carries a little bark of warning as well. Stop daydreaming and and watch your step, lest you fall and end up looking the fool.

I registered as 'the Lovers' I'll take it!

About 15 years ago, a coworker did a Tarot reading and warned me about a dark haired bearded man would come into my life and to be weary of him. Do not marry him. I long since forgot about the reading. Four years later I ended up marrying a man with a beard. Immediately following our wedding ceremony I realized I made a big mistake, his true colors began to show. A year later, during a conversation with someone about astrology, Fung Shei and other mystical measures people use to read the future I remembered the Tarot reading (It hit me like a lightening bolt, oh my God- I forgot about that

Five years in a disasterous marriage finally ended in irreconsileable differences (Honestly God gave me every sign before we got marred I was to blind to see them) Why do I tell this, I guess as a hopeful romantic; don't rush into marriage. But don't run from it either. When its right, its wonderful.

Meaning for 'the Lovers'

Originally, this card was called just LOVE. And that's actually more apt than "Lovers." Love follows in this sequence of growth and maturity. And, coming after the Emperor, who is about control, it is a radical change in perspective. LOVE is a force that makes you choose and decide for reasons you often can't understand; it makes you surrender control to a higher power. And that is what this card is all about. Finding something or someone who is so much a part of yourself, so perfectly attuned to you and you to them, that you cannot, dare not resist. In interpetation, the card indicates that the querent has come across, or will come across a person, career, challenge or thing that they will fall in love with. They will know instinctively that they must have this, even if it means diverging from their chosen path. No matter the difficulties, without it they will never be complete.

I decide to take another chance and today I was Emperor, maybe my mood perception is different. I could not find the definition; you mention it was about power... I've never thought too much about power. I'll have to reflect on that for a while. Am I a power seeker? Never thought I was but then again

I do have pretty set standards, goals and ideas about things, with room for error of course.
