Jim on the piano?

Does anyone know whether Jim Carrey really does play the piano? Was that really him playing in the Majestic? I loved that scene. <p></p><i></i>

Although I have read that Jim did learn some piano for this role, apparently that wasn't him we heard playing in the film. According to The Majestic's online production journal, they used a tape to playback the piano music for that scene, while Jim moved his hands across the keys. But they did mention that when that scene was being filmed, people were amazed to see that he was actually hitting all the right keys. He must have learned that piece of music for authenticity (hardly a surprise considering what a perfectionist he is about his work <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> ). <p></p><i></i>
