Remembrance Day!

It rained here on Nov 11
But thankfully
It was warmer than usual
I kept waiting for the one minute
Of silence but
Again
It never came
Last year it didn’t happen either
I think others waited for it too
Since after the benediction
(Closing prayer)
Everyone was still kinda still
waiting around
Probably to put their poppy
At the cenotaph
Or
Maybe just waiting for more direction
Not sure

I like to watch
The Majestic around
This time of year
Recently
I read a book called
One Second After
Quite interesting but sad in end
It’s about
EMP’s
Similar to a big
Solar Flare
Only worse
I wonder if they have yet
Figured this one out
