Jim Carrey discussion on non-movie related topics or topics which doesn't fit anywhere else...

I have really noticed that Jim Carrey has grown to be man and an artist. But a lot of his interviews I don't understand what he means. I know what he means a little bit. But there are some quotes I don't understand, for instance: "Jim Carrey is gone", he doesn't exist" he never existed". I'm not Jim Carrey" . those are the ones I don't understand.

In my humble opinion It means he's trying to detract from any probing questions and get the interviewers off his back. He's a smart bloke, the media have underestimated just how smart he is, he knows what he's doing.

JCO:
Another thing I'm worried about Jim, is why is so frail, thin, and gaunt. That also has me worried. I hope he's okay.

i think he's just reverted back to his body type. The beard has been hiding it but he's not a hefty bloke, he's athletic. Having said that, the pressure he's under won't help much...... of course i'm just guessing here, Jim may very well be going off the rails but if he is he can take some comfort knowing that he has our support at JCO. He might be a superstar but he's still a man at the end of the day and that comes with flaws and weaknesses like the rest of us. Hang in there Jim, 'this too shall pass'.

my musical inspiration David Sylvian puts it beautifully..... There IS always Sunshine above the grey skies......you just have to look hard enough and have patience.

Music sounds a little like A croaking frog with organ in Background I think the most annoying Creature sound is that of A Cikaida High pitch Almost sounds like the High pitch of a boat When your under the water

To me it's pretty clear he's having a phase again. And I don't mean that in a negative way. But following him closely for the last 20 years, I've learned Jim has the habit to adjust himself to what he's doing in his life at the very moment. And it's not the first time the movie he worked on influenced him as a person in some way and he suddenly sees things differently, until the next project comes along and he's yet again 'playing' another version of Jim Carrey. So now he's all being extential Carrey, since it's what fits his experience with 'Jim & Andy'. And in a year he will think different again. That's OK, he's human. No doubt however, he's also playing the press by stretching it, he has always done that.
Ps: He would look a lot better if he gained some weight, he looks ten years older being so thin. Not that it matters, he must do as he feels.

Great interview, thanks for that. 'Cogito ergo sum' Jim..... lol....I should imagine discussing philosophy and psychology with him would be a total mind trip, interesting though. re his weight, he looks like he's doing a lot of physical activity, he has the physique of a runner now..
