Remembering those who
survived, fought,
died and cried
May God bless those who
served, helped,
cared and tried

to keep the rest of us alive

Victims and Soldiers
of days past wars
May they rest in peace
as we pray that war
be no more,
NO MORE

Morning,
I loved the poem that Canadian Jane wrote for veterans.
I notice on my calander that Remembrance Day is on same day as United States' Veterans Day.
Does Canada celebrate the remembrance of your veterans like the
United States celebrates the remembrance of our veterans here in the USA? I'm just curious.

Sincerely,

Terry M (Dallas, Texas)

Yes, we honor the day the same way
Communities gather together
Silence at the 11day,hour and minute
Airplanes overhead
reverent music, poetry read,
veterans stand strong
we bow in prayer
and when it rains
on Nov 11
I say
"God cries"
