I Wish we had a seperate discussion area on
Books by Jim Carrey - How Roland Rolls for discussion
Since there have been a lot of hurricanes, tornadoes, wind and water spouts
in our area lately, my grandson asked a question about it
He asked "Do they have EYES?" I thought he said "Are they alive?"
The news talks about the eye of the storm
I asked him to explain, then he reminded me of the "Knarly" character
in "How Roland Rolls" it shows "Knarly" with eyes as if he's alive
So really his question was all inclusive with the two questions
I did not know how to answer that one, all I could say was
"No, tornadoes are not alive like people"
Sometimes they seem so when they are on their path to destruction
Any helpful hints on this one?

The bible says out of the mouths of babes....its a saying when children in their innocence say things that make us think but really have truths in them.

Yes water gives life and according to the native Indian teaching water is sacred and since we are made up of nearly 90 percent of it being true...

Interesting thought though it seems as if eye are in water
I think that the book can provide some comfort knowing that we are made up of primarily water and it being such a vital thing for our survival daily...

So we are one with the water and even though a disaster like tornadoes tsunami floods happen just like narley .life takes on another form if we get caught up in that situation ! Its not the end just part of a bigger picture , life cycle, drawing an understandable child friendly way to reach the heart for a sensitive issue life as we know it and death which we see around us...water has life and gives life but has no literal eyes, its vital for the planet that sustains and provides for us people, little and big!

So where did those ppl go who got carried away by this water? Just like Rolland! Taking on a different form since most of us are water anyway , what ya think of that idea?
