believe me, i would if i could.........lol......my appalling ex dentist ruined a simple fillling replacement which meant i needed a crown and he went and cocked that up too.......so i've now i've had to rope the senior partner into doing the remedial work which means a root canal........believe me if this was the states i'd be taking my ex dentist to the cleaners..........grrrrrr

I do.
I've never done what you will do but the most important thing is for you to feel comfortable with the doctor and the best way to do it is to have a conversation with him/her. Just ask questions about the procedure, what will he/she do, everything you may feel insecure about. Be honest of the fact that you're nervous and then take a box of Valium... NO, I'm kidding  Just take a deep breath and go for it.

It won't be as bad as you imagine. Trust me. :)

when my nephew was 2 years old he fell and broke his tooth and teh stupid dentist insisted that he had a root canal to put it back together. If a 2 year old can do it you can too.

I guess just think about stuff that makes you happy! But if you have concentration issues like me, just let your mind do whatever... Then hopefully you will forget about whats happening in your mouth!

ask your dentist if you can bring a Ipod or MP3 player. Then you can listen to some soothing music to help you relax
