awe nope, it sounds fantastic but i've seen blue and white.....from the roof of the highest hotel in Sorrento Italy, standing next to a metal flagpole whilst it crashed overhead. ...... ok, i realise it wasn't the most sensible spot to stand in but it was a mindblowingly good spot.......my long hair was literally standing on end like the girl from Carrie with all the static .........so cool......

It is going to be sooo funny you are right.....can't wait to see the amazing sports pics though esecially from getty images. On the subject of that, the beach volley ball had a massive stand put in place this week. If anyone has been to wimbledon and seen the bunch of guys who sit with a zoom lens at the women's event. HA it's so funny to watch them in action pretending to take a pic of the shot, it will be paradise for them down the Mall next week.

Come on now, lets get those positive vibes out there,
we should root that all Olympic Events are a success.

It's about bringing the World together,
I think it's important to learn and enjoy
other cultures and differences

It's like our environment
eg. there are different types of trees
but all are necessary, they all(I think) give off
oxygen.

I love watching the Olympics, it would
be great to have a Big Screen at the Beach
I wonder if anyone out there is going to do that.

we've got a big screen in Glasgow to watch the opening/closing ceremonies.....
But this time i think a lot of Brits are more interested in the ParaOlympics.....they've been really plugging those here and to be honest, the courage, determination and stamina of those competitors is far more interesting and inspiring than that of the mainstream Olympians IMO.... :D It's especially impressive considering a lot of the disabled competitors don't get a fraction of the funding and support of the others.......those are the real heroes in my opinion........ =D> =D> =D> =D>

The Greater Toronto Area has a population of approximately
6 Million people over an area of abt 2,751 square miles

London has Abt 7.7 Million people over an area of abt 660 sq miles, that's
alot of people in a concentrated area compared to GTA

These figures are approximate and just gives an idea of the difference

Now I see why there may be traffic concerns but the
transportation systems should be good, is it?

the media are staying around Bloomsbury bec all the Universitys are around there and all the students are on holiday so they have the Uni dorms and student accommodation to stay in that is why they are down there. It's a nightmare, already been accosted by a clipboard thought I was going to be in for a bit of waterboarding for just wanting to drive past Russell Square.
