How do you write a funny (tasteful)skit(notXrated)?

Here is where you discuss everything under the sun, just keep it clean.

Well, my friend is in a competition and
wants a funny but tasteful commercial.
It's on a cleaning item, it cleans with
just water, no chemicals.
I don't want it cheezy like some of those out there, I
don't want you to write it,
but just give me
some tips on making things funny
but not offensive. :D

I use Final Draft as the comp application.......it's an old version but it suits me.......depends on the topic your pal is writing about...i find the funniest skits reflect real life situations ...... :D

its really about being creative and doing something they'll never see coming. like take this brief joke for example:

Sometimes you have to look in the mirror, slap yourself, and say "Why did I slap myself?"

You may not find it funny, but you didn't see it coming

Ironically, where I am this week
we come up with one liners often
not even thinking about it and it
just comes out,
I've been in stitches
laughing so hard tonight,
some of can be just from
listening to someone laugh
like a"the snorting like a pig"
Then it all starts, and this is all over a crokinole game
who would have thought....
The problem is putting that humour into something
that you want to convince others that it's great.
The only commercial that made me want to go out and get it is...
food, when you watch someone eating, then you think,
ya, I like those, I want some of that, now.
So either they will have it on hand, get someone to go to buy it,
or will buy it soon(if they can't afford it) they'll buy it when it's
on special and they have the $ and buy in numbers.
