Funny things that almost happened at the....

Has anything funny/disastrous almost happen to you but it didn't...
just in the nick of time.
It did for me the other day...
On my afternoon tour at the park,
I rode my bike down a slanted slope
to a park bench to watch a family fishing.

I parked my bike behind the bench,
while sitting I retreived a little snack from my backpack
when suddenly..
the bike started to move by itself down the slope towards the river
I reached for it but, thankfully instead of rolling itself into the river/lake it toppled over,I looked at a child fisher and
proclaimed "Almost",

then I wondered to myself, would have I gone into the
mirky water for it, probably, I was glad I didn't have to.

Loads of stuff.............i've mentioned some on here............like the time i was teaching a class with my bra underwire poking out of my sweater by a good 5 inches in front of me..........the time i went to work with some knickers velcroed to my back,the time i went to Wallmart wearing odd shoes......the time i was transporting a pupil and they found a racy lacy bra under their car seat
and last week whilst camping i went to the loo in the wee small hours and couldn't find my way back to the tent which made for a classic comedy sketch......
not to mention some stuff i best not mention here...... ......
They could have been disastrous if i'd been caught but the thing is to keep a straight face and just laugh at yourself in private (then tell your pals for a good laugh).......

lmao......i should state that i'm NOT a clumsy walking disaster zone or anything........lol....it's just that i find humour in that sort of stuff.......i don't get embarrassed, i'm more likely to burst out laughing....... .......

My Sister lives 2 doors down from me. I put my sandels on to go to her house. I figured it would be ok if I didn't buckle them since I was just going a short distance. I started walking up my Sisters front stairs when one of my sandels slipped and almost made me fall down the stairs. I quickly grabbed my sandel and put it back on before my sister saw. I would never have heard the end of it if she did.lol

BTW this just happened today.lol

Crocks can be really dangerous especially if you run in them
I know of major injuries that can occur even if you
go out for a quick jog
so never, never, never
run in crocks

(they are slip on plastic shoes with no back on them)

lol.........and OMG they are comfy........like wearing baffies (slippers).......shame they look so awful though.......

Ouchy thing that happened....
I was cleaning up my room the last week,
and I had a glass shelf on a small metal unit
That's where I had my stuffed penguin overlooking my room
But in my moving the small unit I forgot the glass shelf was
there and the shelf fell on my head, I still have a bump .

As I cried, I blurted out a swear word, then I remembered I had a
talk to give a talk at church on the 11th, I apologized in prayer hoping
I'd be forgiven and still be given some inspiration for what I
needed to say the next day.(I tend to swear when I'm in pain)

But I don't remember swearing when I gave birth to my children,
all I remember was feeling relief when the pain was gone and the
joy of that child being there and healthy.

i'm sure God would understand and forgive you.......that sounds like a nasty bump you got....

It looks like I tease my hair now
but it's the bump
