new bike advice.......

I'm gonna get a new bike but i'm not sure what to go for.......any ideas??........should i go for aluminium or steel?............it's between the hybrid and mountain styles.......

I can't give any good advice on that one...
I purchased a bike last Sept. used it Sept, Oct and
then the pedal fell off
The bolt on the pedal keeps falling off, brand new bike
very frustrating

The has to be a way to fix it, but not sure how
YOu'g think the new bikes would be better

do you remember the Raleigh Shopper bike?.......lol.....i had one as a kid and i loved it.......lol.....
i've gone for an aluminium hybrid but i couldn't resist having a basket fitted to the front......lol.......(for the picnic stuff )
lol........the whole city has gone bike crazy here.......almost everyone is out peddling.....lol.......

Yes, I do remember the Raleigh bikes
I googled Raleigh Shopper
They look really sturdy
Mine looked like a mountain bike
The Raleigh bike is similar to the bike
my mom used in Florida, her's folded up

I think if you've ridden a bike since you're a kid,
it's easy to get it back, only problem as one gets
older the weight distribution is not the same
I feel a difference this year after eating too much
sweets during the winter, I justified that

so much harder as you get older to work

upright handle bars or the drop handle bars?

both......lol......i can turn them up which i've done........i like my handlebars quite high.....

I don't think a bicycle comes with BOTH UPRIGHTS and DROP. The drop handlebars are what you see on all Road bicycles (very thin tires) and the uprights are the common handlebars that you see on Mountain bikes.

so which one is it?
