Here is where you discuss everything under the sun, just keep it clean.

I awoke that morning about 2:00 am our time and couldn't get back to sleep. My thought was "I should get up and see what's happening, I don't usually wake up and feel like I have to stay awake" I didn't get back to sleep until about 5:00, I read during the time but I wish I had turned on the TV and seen what was going on.
I think no matter where a person lives if something is happening there is some kind of unseen feeling that hits everyone. We saw it with 911. Similar to a Universal Whallop!

Absolutely pray for them, how can a person prepare for something like that, it hits so fast.

Fluffy is right. There's nothing we can do. Japan is having their own Katrina/Cherenobyl. Unfortunatly, things happen.
Honestly, I think I may be heading over there for relief by the end of the year if things aren't any better. I'm hoping to enlist with the U.S. Navy and with this coming about, there's a good oppertunity for me to head to Okinawa and do some relief help.
I always wanted to go to Japan, but not to see what I may see when I get there.

i think the worst will have been cleared away by then but you'll be there at the important re-generation time......the tragedy will stay with them forever but re-building/re-generation will help give them hope for the future....
(normally i'd post a link to a disaster relief donation site here but there are many different ones- such as the American and British Red Cross, the Red Crescent, Oxfam, Save the Children and ones started by the TV companies, plus local giving arrangements...)

Now they are saying that there's possibly a nuclear catastrophe going to happen since the reactors were exposed to the elements and fire.
They are cooling the cores with sea water. Hopefully it works.

Thanks for the prayin smiley, I thought it was there.
Just as I precausion I would still move people away just for preventative measures, if there was a way.
That's just my opinion. Very concerned..
