12 Days of Christmas from Mom...

Postby Canadian Jayne » Thu Dec 23, 2010 4:23 pm

I'm on day 10 and I am trying to figure out
what else to send,
Any ideas?
Can't be too expensive but very creative,
I've done alright so far,
but it's good to
get a few
more ideas

10 is normally 10 lords a leaping

how does one accomodate that for today?

I wonder

How about a hand crafted christmas card.

Make an arrangment of xmas festive stuff around candles. I suggesst a big white candle (vanilla), a red candle (cranberry or cinnamon) and a green candle (mint, evergreen or sandlewood).

Make your own candle. Get some hot was from green red and white and then mix them. Shows that you are very traditional yet creative. Plus it will save you on money.

You can make your own stocking or your mom a stocking; collage of xmas things that reminded you of your kid years when you would have xmas and put a picture of your family in the middle. Come up with something catchy as a quote like: "This is what Christmas means to me" or The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other". ~Burton Hillis.

just an idea...

I did, I made a hand made card this week for each of them.

I do like the candle idea, I was thinking about some of those
scented sticks.
