I know you are happy about Mr. Poppers Penguins. Congratulations.
Re: Jim Carrey starring in Mr. Poppers Penguinslol.......it explains Jims 'penguin love' tweets........ and he loves animals/birds so he should have a blast making it!........

Re: Jim Carrey starring in Mr. Poppers PenguinsYES! To God, every living being is beautiful... Except for you.
Re: Jim Carrey starring in Mr. Poppers PenguinsI'm glad he signed something. But why this project? I don't believe in Mark Waters. As I said before, 'Freaky Friday' was ok and 'Spiderwick Chronicles' was very enjoyable, but 'Just Like Heaven', 'Mean Girls' and 'Ghosts of Girlfriends Past' were terrible, real comedy-killers.
I guess this famous book will have a lot of fans going "Jim Carrey is not our Mr. Poppers" ... I'm just dissapointed that so many of the very interesting projects didn't make it and now he's going for this safe family-movie. With the animals involved this is a risky thing, will they be real, will they be CGI, will it be "realistic" to see Carrey next to those creatures ... and is this even a interesting role? I know, I sound negative about this. But I simply don't believe in this choice of movie. Maybe it will be a nice suprise, still possible. I was afraid for 'The Number 23' for some reasons like this (choice of director) and although it was just 'ok', I was right about it.
Re: Jim Carrey starring in Mr. Poppers Penguinsi hope they have some real ones.........they're such adorable little waddlers........everyone loves real penguins!!! and animated ones are old hat since Happy feet..........

Re: Jim Carrey starring in Mr. Poppers PenguinsYou know...I've been thinking...he'll probably get (more) epic/academyawardsworthy roles a bit later...at Jack's age still find it extremely interesting when it comes to Jim's choices upon scripts, movie roles and all...Through this roles he made it really clear that he is willing to find out EVERYTHING about acting...aka become the best actor. "Someday soon, I just know it ...!"
Looking forward to seeing this one as well. Sounds like real fun...But right now I'm waiting for the ILYPM buzz... peaceout ps: ESOTSM - made by a young romanian artist (a chick ): http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pho ... =fbx_album Rock this joint, yes !
Re: Jim Carrey starring in Mr. Poppers PenguinsI agree with Grinchy Steve on this one. I'm not sure about this one.
I mean, I'm still going to watch it because I love penguins and Jim....but I'm not sure if I'll like it or not. But who knows....Jim is an amazing actor! One person's craziness, is another person's reality. ~ Tim Burton
Re: Jim Carrey starring in Mr. Poppers PenguinsI can't wait!
