I'm planning to see it, but first have to check out 'Kick-Ass' and some smaller (independent) movies.
Ridley Scott never made a bad movie. Only 'Kingdom of Heaven' was a bit less impressive, but that was because of Orlando Bloom not being able to Carrey a role like that. (Scott didn't want Bloom for the role, but was forced by the studio) And further Ridley has set the standard for different genres and has some masterpieces on his name. So yeah, I'm in for his vision on 'Robin Hood'.
Some of the reviews aren't so hot...and I am definitely no professional critic,
I'm just a plain Jayne, but I liked the historical aspect, we've had enough "Robin Hood in tight, tights" the over 40 group may enjoy it, and there was little of the hot and heavy stuff that really isn't necessary in most films. Maybe that's to draw the younger crowd in but remember the BAby Bmrs are in a majority right now. Great writing, great directing, great acting, excellent camera work, what more can I say. Others may differ.
I have no intentions of seeing this. don't care much for Crowe. I'll sit this one out.
good for that reporter to insult Crowe. hahaha. I'm sure he got into several arguments on set. too much of a bad temper. so glad this isn't a Batman movie. couldn't stand the accent of an Irish Batman.
I didn't watch it for the movie stars,, I watched it for thestory and it was definitely much better than I expected.
I love history and the way people tell the story, it was a familiar story but different in that it was never told in this way before. The story of Robin Hood before he stole from the rich and gave to the poor. Like a prequel
