There is a song called "End of the World"

Postby Canadian Jayne » Fri May 14, 2010 3:02 pm

I think the best version is the Skeeter Davis version

the last line is...

"it ended when you said goodbye"

Thankyou for sharing, that was excellent....

This is a terrific song, thanks for sharing.

I'be been listening to
Louis Armstong's "What a wonderful world"

It's sunny and warm now here in Ontario and the
rain has finally stopped for now.
A bit windy but hey, ya can't have everything

I also like his song "The home fire"

i love that style of jazz.... :D grandpa was a sax player back in the day and when i was a wee girl he would play me Satchmo and Sinatra :D
'Wonderful World' has gotta be joint equal with Dame Vera i reckon :D

Both excellent artists.
Isn't that unusual weather for
your area at this time, usually
its very wet around now, isn't it?

it's usually mild and showery but the weather's gone weird......It's really cold and the sun is struggling to say 'hello world'... :) ........
Even here snow is unusual in May.........it's bizarre....
