I just saw the movie Avatar. It was pretty good. The story, plot and animation was believable.the concept of movie I like so much.I seen lots of movie in which the people from other planets attacks on the earth and we save our earth.but I seen the first movie in which we are attacking on some other planets for money or other issue.I like the people who fought for the truth against their own people. I cant say its a must see except if you don't see it at a movie theatre, the home theatre wont give it proper justice. I would even recommend seeing it on the IMax screen.

I haven't seen it.. im not sure if I want to or not.
My one friend said that the only good thing about it is the animation (which she said was amazing) and that the plot wasnt that great.

From just asking around, it seems that the younger you are the more you like it.
So fluffy, I think that goes back to the great special effects but ropey story and dialogue.

I don't think it's the age. I went to see this with my brother (21) and my dad (56) and we all really enjoyed it. The special effects were amazing, and I liked the dialogues. At some parts it was a bit dreading, but I would definitely recommend it!

There are two sides on 'Avatar'. The story is predictable in every possible way, the characters are underwritten and the dialogues not very sharp, not at all actually. But the visuals are stunning, this is a new experience for the viewers. And in the end it comes down to one thing : It works. So 'Avatar' is proof that a movie doesn't have to be strong in the most important parts (script, acting, writing) to succeed. I recommend it.

The only thing that is just ridiculous : Winning a Golden Globe for 'Best Drama'. You've got to be kidding!
