question about you
How many of you don't drive?
I don't drive, but I feel that Jim would be O,,K, with it. I mean that fact has never bothered me. He is so cool and such a human being.
I also have a progressive handicap and don't walk without assistance. I'm positive that Jim Carrey could see the real me under this handicap. The handicap is a physical thing-it does not affect my mind or personality. I laugh hysterically at his movies and appreciate his more serious side. Like John Lennon said in INSTANT KARMA: "We all shine on-like the moon, the stars, and the sun. We ALL shine on-on and on, on and on..."

I know how to drive but I can't because I don't have a driver's license. I need to work on my turns. I am eager to get out and drive places on my own. I hate being escorted around a lot. I want to be independent. but yeah, right now I don't drive.
I don't care about what Jim thinks about that. I just want to get myself around. later!

Driving Ms. Jaynie
Yes, I drive, have for years but I don't have a car.
Toooooooo expensive.
So I bike wherever and load it up with groceries.
I've had a few spilling experiences.
I have a current license.
Biking is better for one physically,
unless your in the city and eating the smog.

city girl here and I eat smog just sitting in my room, I tried walking one day to a place that's 5 minutes away by car and it took me an hour to get there. Never again, and there is no way I'd bike on these roads either, I'd crack my head in a second, not to mention all the sleazy dirty men who stare you down if your skirt goes past your knees. the city sucks

I don´t understand this sentence. Is it somehow "forbidden" or just not good thing to women in USA drive a car? Why is that?cotton wrote: Most men don't mind doing all the driving. So Jim probably doesn't mind it either.
I do drive. I´ve got my driver´s lisence 1990 and I´ve been driving since then almost every day. I live in rural Finland and the distances are quite long.
For example my distance from my place to my work is 33 kilometers ( I don´t know how much it is in miles) and there´s no busses available. So, a car is indispensable for me.
