Here is where you discuss everything under the sun, just keep it clean.

Owen won the race, but in my defense, Raine is still getting used to his shoes. Owen's horse has age and experience to his credit. That's alright. One of these days, I'll get a rematch.
We fed and watered the horses, and went to wash up for our own meal. I'm thinking, I may excuse myself from dinner. I'm really not very hungry tonight...

Wow, this is amazing writing.
You must really REALLY do something about your talent here Wylde, or all your talents will go to waste.
That would be such a shame.
The truth shall set you free.

Does it bother you?

I even threw in my longest ever 'run on' sentence just to PO my old middle school language arts teachers...

I had just fallen asleep when I thought I heard my door open and shut. It was Owen. He curled up behind me and got me awake enough to talk a bit, but we were both soon asleep... We awoke in the wee hours. We awoke in each others' arms. We.... well we won't get into that, but you would not believe how the night will amplify even the slightest creak of a bed, much less...

Just my luck... his mother walked in. It wasn't too unlike the cold stare of old Pat Garrett when he'd cornered Billy 'The Kid,' or maybe the dead silence before the first shot fired at the OK corral... She wasn't speaking the next day, but several doors, cabinets, windows, and God knows were slammed, and when Gram found out, she dragged it all out by needling her to make her angrier. Suddenly, I'm missing Ohio.

After a particulary eventful weekend a tired and happy Nicky stumbled off the coach. Looking at the grand ole house she noted how quickly it had begun to feel like home.
Familiar eyes greeted her at the door and she surrendered to their kindness.

"Did you bring the medicines and supplies from Austin, Nicky?" I ask. "I'll help you carry them in, but DON'T go through the kitchen..." I warn Nicky and sheepishly bring her up to speed on 'Ma's' temper.

Yeah, a tired and dusty old carpet bag was dragged in over the thresh-hold.
Iodine, linament, cotton strips, cotton thread and needles were amongst it's contents and at the bottom a bottle of particulary strong and nasty brandy and a leather strap, just in case......

"I'll take a dose or two of that 'medicine,' Nicky, if you'll find us some glasses..." I threw my eyes to the cabinet just off of the kitchen.

Lifting the lid off a pot of freshly made strong tea, a generous slug of liquor was poured into the murky water.
The menfolk wouldn't like it if the gals hit the strong stuff first.........
So settling down in front of the wood stove W began telling N about the weekends events..........
