Wilhelm scream

Post by Eskarpin »

A series of brief shouts of pain carried out by an actor were engravings in 1951. The recording was filed in the bookstore of special effects of the study and has been utilized in many of its movies since then.

The Designer of Sound of "Star Wars" Ben Burtt discovered the recording of the shout, that called "Wilhelm" Ben has adopted the shout by way of personal sonorous firm, and has included it in many of the movies in which has worked. He, and a small sound effects personnel circle continue the crusade to maintain the Wilhelm alive. The Wilhelm scream continues being listened in new movies each year.

Where do you find this stuff?

At first, I was amused, but after about a minute of listening to the same scream over and over and over and over and over and over again, it started to get on my nerves.

But thanks for posting. That was interesting.

Did you copy your post from someplace or is your English writing improving? If it's the latter, then keep up the good work!

Makes you wonder what ever happened to the silent scream. The scream where you're so full of terror that when you try to scream nothing comes out.

I've noticed that scream a lot! I've also noticed the female scream, but I have no clue how to explain it. :?
