( Oh and I would appreciate if anyone finds a misspelled word to

" Bling ... bling ... time to bake the donuts " , says Jake's

alarm clock . Jake did not want to get out of bed , so he threw a shoe at

his alarm clock . The alarm clock fell and landed on the cat who laid

sleeping in his mouse shaped bed .

Belly ( the cat ) raised his head and rolled his eyes at Jake .

After ten minutes of rocking back and forth in his bed Jake

decided to get up . He jumped up and shook his head . " What are you

looking at " , asks Jake to his cat .

The cat hizzed at Jake while crawling towards his bed .

Before getting out of bed Jake slipped on his big bird slippers

then says , " there's no place like home ... there's no place like home " .

He clapped his big bird slippers against one another.

The cat stares at Jake and jumps into his bed .

Jake dragged himself into the bathroom where he looked at

his face and body for one second in the mirror . " God - another

miserable day . " He looks down at the floor and with sad face he got into

the shower .

Jake is a 35 year old man and an only child . His parents live 100 miles

away and his mother calls him everyday to see how he is doing . Jake

never picks up the phone , he lets the answering maching pick up . He

has not been on a date since second grade and considers himself to be a

nerd . Jake is the owner and manager of a donut shop two blocks away

from his apartment .

" Belly ... Belly , could you please turn on the radio for me " , shouts

Jake from the shower to his cat .

Belly crossed his eyes then jumped down from the bed and crawled

towards the radio . Belly reached up to the radio and turned the nob ,

the radio turned on . Belly began wagging his tail to the beat of the song .

" Thanx Belly " , screams Jake .

The cat smiles .

Jake finished showering and dried himself off with his Bob the builder

towel , he turned to the mirror . " I'm hot " , said Jake laughing at

himself stupidly . Jake then walks into his room dancing as was his cat .

They danced for five minutes . Jake reached for a knob next to his closet

door and a horn sounds ( the closet door slides open automatic after the

horn sounds five times ) . All his shoes shined like a star on a clear night .

His dressy shirts are arranged by color , size and year . Jake steps into

his closet and few minutes later he is dressed . He looks at himself in his

bedroom mirror lifting his pants way past his bellybutton . He grabs his

broken taped in the middle eye wear and places them on his face . " Oh

gosh ... just when I thought I was getting hot " , says Jake frowning

heading for the door .

Belly covers his eyes with his paw after hearing what his Master

had said .

" Time to make the donuts " , says Jake winking at Belly and says

goodbye to him . Jake left to the donut shop

Outside the donut shop were Jake's employees goofing around . Jake

has six employees working for him . All have been in trouble with the

law and some were still on probation . Two of his employees were in the

back of the donut shop . There was two other employees sitting

down on the sidewalk drinking beer while the last two stood near the

door waiting for Jake to open the shop so they could start working and

where not dressed for work .

Jake was crossing the sidewalk when he got splashed with sewer water

by a car that drove at a fast speed past him . Jake stopped walking and

wiped himself .

One of the employees who sat down drinking beer saw what

had happened to Jake . " Ha , ha , ha . "

Jake walked towards the employees that were visible infront of the shop

cleaning off his eye wear . Jake reached for his keys to open the shop .

" Hey boss , someone thought you needed a shower this fine early

morning . " Laughs the employee .

" You know - you are not supposed to be drinking while on the job " ,

says Jake to Ross ( the employee who made the comment and one of the

employee who sat drinking on the sidewalk ) .

Ross stands up . " Oh this ? This is my medicine . " He takes a big gulp

of his beer then burps and wipes his mouth .

All Jake did was knod his head up and down while opening the

donut shop .

The other three employees laughed .

" Okay delincuents ... time to make the donuts " , says Jake . He opened

the door . " Aren't we missing someone ? "

" Yeah boss . They are out back doing the Lambada " , says Mike ( one

of the employee not dressed for work ) . He laughs .

" Great ! You guys start your duties while I go seperate those two

animals . " Jake leaves his employees alone inside the donut shop while

he goes searching for the other two employees . He walks around the

back of the shop and hears moaning . Jake takes a quick peak around

the corner only to see Steffanie and Roland .

Steffanie had her skirt lifted up from what Jake could see as Roland was

behind her pulling on her hair .

" HOLY JESUS " , screams Jake .

The two employees got startled . Steffanie turned around lowering

her skirt . Roland is pulling up his pant then both turned around .

" Have you never had sex ? It's no big deal " , says Roland walking

towards Jake buttoning his pants .

" I am not paying you guys to make out ! C'mon let's go to work " ,

says Jake upset .

The three of them start walking towards the entrance of the shop .

Roland places his arm around Jake and looks at Steffanie while she

walked infront of them . " Wow boss - what an ass on that bitch . " He

grins and hugs Jake really tight .

Jake fixed his eye wear .

" By the way boss ... you smell really bad ! "

" Just get to work all of you's . " Demanded Jake to all his employees and

walked into his office .

It was not time to open the shop for the customers . Everyone was

acting like they were doing their job . Steffanie and Roland where in the

corner kissing . Tim ( one of the employees that was on the sidewalk

drinking beer with Ross ) was picking his nose kneeding dough . Mike

sneezed everywhere . Jim was outside in the diningroom doing his duty ;

cleaning the tables , moping and making sure that there was no bugs

under the table . As for Ross , he sat down drinking a beer he had

smuggled into the shop .

Jake stepped out of his office and shouts , " are you guys

ready for me to open the shop ? "

" Yeah " , replied Ross from the kitchen .

Steffanie , Roland and Tim looked at Ross and they all shook their

heads .

" Oh man ! Why did you say yes ? You idiot " , Roland angrily said .

" Sorry dude " , said Ross after he took the beer and hid it inside his

pant pocket . He ran to act like he was cleaning the counter .

Jake leaves the office and walks passed Jim to flip the sign .

" Nice job Jim . I believe you are getting better at cleaning " , says

Jake smiling .

" Thanx boss . Maybe if I keep it up they'll let me off probation . "

Grins Jim .

Jake got closer to Jim on his way to the front of the shop . " You

know ... if you keep up the good work - I might just give your probation

officer the okay to let you off . " Smiles Jake .

Jim smiled back at Jake .

Jake turned the sign to open.

" You know boss if you do that - I might not want to work for you for

free . " Grins Jim .

" Very funny " , says Jake . He walks towards the kitchen , when all

of a sudden an older man taps on the glass window of the shop and

waves hello to him . Jake walks back to the door and lets him inside .

" Goodmorning Charles . " Grins Jake while letting the man in .

" Goodmorning Jake . " Grins the old man back at Jake .

Charles is a regular customer at Jake's donut shop . He is always

stopping in very early in the morning for a cup of hot coffee at Jake's

donut shop . Charles admires Jake a lot . Jake is like a son he never

had .

" Hi sir . How are you doing this lovely morning " , asks Jake to

Charles after Charles sat down . Jake is at the door making sure that the

door is unlocked . Jake sees beer cans on the sidewalk . " Someone

shoot me " , says Jake to himself and stepped outside to pick up the beer

cans laying around infront of his store .

Charles is staring at Jim while he cleans the tables .

Steffanie walks out of the kitchen . " What can I do for you " , asked

Steffanie to Charles loudly chewing her bubblegum .

Charles grins . " The same as usual . "

" Sure ! " Steffanie laughs then says , " one coffee - coming up " .

Steffanie pours coffee in the cup . She bends down and picks at her ears

then she rubs what's stuck on her finger inside the cup . " I hope you like

it ... I made it with love . " She laughs while handing Charles the coffee .

Jake walks back into the shop after removing the beer cans from the

sidewalk . He hears a noise . He turns around and someone had thrown

another beer can infront of his shop . " Oh brother , I give up ... "

Charles takes a sip of his coffee .

Jake is passing by Charles when from nowhere Charles spits up the

coffee . " Are you okay ? "

" This coffee tastes like dirt ! "

Jake grabs the coffee cup . " I am sorry about that ... I'll grab you

another cup . " Jake gave Steffanie a dirty look .

Steffanie flicks her hair and with arms crossed she leaves to the

kitchen .

" Uh oh - someone is in deep shit . " Laughs Jim .

" Could you please do your work in silence " , exclaimed Jake to Jim .

Jake walks with the cup of coffee behind the counter and sees that the

coffee had been there for days , it was now covered with mold . Jake was

really upset with Steffanie . He took the whole pot of coffee to the

kitchen . " Okay , who was the genius to not have been paying attention

to their job duties " , asks Jake tapping his foot . Jake slowly looks

around at his employees but no one answered , not a twich . Jake

dropped the pot in the sink and took a clean pot . " Man ... when will I get

good help around here ? These delincuents should all be beheaded . "

Laughs Jake as he walks himself to brew a fresh pot of coffee . He looks

at Charles and says , " the coffee will be just two

minutes - would you like a donut on the house while you wait on the

coffee ? "

" Sure . " Charles patiently smiles awaiting his service .

Jake shouts to his employees in the kitchen , " can someone please

hand me a fresh donut " .

They all looked at eachother in the kitchen as Tim says , " oh wait ,

I'll make him a very tasty one " . Tim grabs a donut and dragged it all

over the floor where there had been dead roaches laying around .

"Sweet ! I am sure he'll love this one . " Laughs Tim .

" Here , toss it my way . " Grins Roland . Roland catched the donut

and left the kitchen to give it to Jake .

" Thanx " , says Jake to Roland grabbing the donut and placing it in a

napkin then he handed it to Charles . " Again ... I am so sorry for

the inconvenience . "

Charles took a bite . " Mmmm ... never had such a good tasting

chocolate chip donut before . " Grins Charles.

Jake's eyes opened up really wide so did his mouth .

Everyone in the kitchen was staring out of the crack that the kitchen

door had , to see Charles enjoying the donut .

Jake heard his employees laughing .

Jake closed his mouth . " Since when do we have chocolate chip

donuts " , he asked himself . " Well - I am glad you like it . " Groaned

Jake walking to the kitchen .

" Yuk ! That old man sure is desperate " , says Steffanie to Roland ,

Ross , Tim and Mike .

They all laughed again .

" Oh crap , here comes boss " , whispered Ross .

They quickly ran off and pretended they were working .

Jake shoves the kitchen door open and walks in upset . " Who was

the smart - ass ? " Jake was pointing his finger one by one at his

employees .

" I don't know what you are talking about boss " , says Roland with a big

grin on his face .

" I am sure no one saw anything " , shouted Jake with hands crossed .

" What happened ? He didn't like the new specialty . " Laughs Steffanie .

Jake's eyes opened as wide as they could . " What do you mean

NEW SPECIALTY " , asked Jake furiously .

Ross busted out laughing . " The roach nut . "

" You make no sense ... it is a donut , not a nut " , replied Tim .

Ross laughs again . " Yeah , I know - I changed the name . " And

he kept on laughing .

Jake stood there all this time while his employees thought the joke they

did to Charles was funny . Jake smacked himself on the forhead .

" Where do these people come from ? I have to get a better agency . "

" What was that boss " , asked Roland .

" Nothing - nothing at all . Could you please ... all of you - do your

work " , says Jake walking out of the kitchen . " And try to do your job

right ! " He laughed out the kitchen . Jake poured the coffee and handed

Charles the freshly brewed cup . With raised eyebrow Jake says , "

Again , I am sorry about the inconveniece ... you know how the mornings

are around here . "

Charles took a sip of his coffee . " Oh Jake , don't worry , I know how it

is around here . I am used to your bad employees and their no

manners . " Laughed Charles .

" Well if you need anything else , just yell for one of my employees or

knock on my office door . I have some paper work I need to finish . "

Jake walks into his office , he slams the door shut so hard that Charles

jumps out of his chair .

Charles sat back down . " Poor guy " , says Charles knodding his head .

Jake threw himself on his office chair , he layed his head on his desk

then closed his eyes .

" You know what hon , we need a vacation ... I mean , this man hardly

takes a day off and I am in need of a few days off or maybe a week . "

Grins Steffanie .

Roland hugs Steffanie and kissing her he asked her , " what exactly

are we talking about here ? Sweety pie " .

Steffanie pushed Roland to the side . " Hey guys , are you all wanting

a vacation " , asked Steffanie to Ross , Mike and Tim smiling away .

" Yeah " , they all replied . The three of them walked towards Steffanie

and Roland .

" Oh ... you mean take Jake for a little boat ride and leave him

behind ? "

Steffanie grins . " Duh hon . That is exactly what I was talking about . "

Ross looks at Roland and Steffanie . " I'm down ! "

" Me too " , says Tim and Mike .

" Cool " , says Roland smacking his hands and rubbing them together .

" Sweet ! So now we have to convince him to come with . "

" Oh ... well I think that is going to be the hard part " , says Mike .

" Yeah - I don't think he will be down for this " , replied Tim .

" Come on guys , sure he will agree to having fun . " Winks Steffanie .

" Just leave it to me - I'll handle this . " She laughs . She gave Roland

a big kiss and walked out the kitchen door as the rest followed her .

Charles still sat in the shop enjoying his coffee and his donut . He saw

all five employees pass him by and head towards Jake's office .

" Uh oh ... they are up to something " , said Charles under his breath .

Steffanie passed by Charles , she turns around and sticks her tongue

out at him .

Charles rolled his eyes at her .

Jim saw that the gang was walking towards Jake's office . " What are

you guys doing " , he asked putting his mop down and begins walking

towards them .

" None of your business " , says Roland to Jim .

" Of course it's my business . " Grins Jim .

" Look Jim , get back to work cause it will be the last day you'll work

for a while . " Laughs Mike . " Besides- I'll tell you later . "

" Oh , okay ... cool " , said Jim and went back to work but not before

sticking his middle finger out at Roland .

Roland kept on walking with the rest .

" What a bunch of f*ckers " , says Jim to himself as he went back to

moping the floor .

Roland Knocked on Jake's door then coughs .

Jake lifted his head , looked at his watch then rubbed his eyes .

" Who is it " , asked Jake standing up from his chair .

" Jake is us ... your employees . " Laughed Steffanie .

" Hold on one second " , said Jake fixing himself. Jake opened the

door . " What's wrong ? Is everything alright ? "

" Oh yeah boss , everything is just dandy . " Laughs Ross .

Mike elbowed Ross .

Jake clossed his office door and walked with the group towards the

diningroom .

Roland puts his arm around Jake . " Boss , the group and I were

wondering if ... if you wanted to come out with us ? "

Jake turns and looks at Roland then he stopped walking .

" C'mon boss ... it'll be fun " , said Steffanie with a grin on her face .

Roland winked at her.

" Well ... " , says Jake looking around at all his employees including

Jim who was staring at the group while he furiously moped the floor .

" Well ... okay - but with one condition " , says Jake to Roland then fixes

his broken taped eye wear .

" What's that boss ? "

Jake grins . " That I have a date to join me . "

Roland takes his arm off Jake . " Wow boss ... I am not sure if I can

do that . " Roland frowns .

" What do you mean hon ? Of course he'll have a date . "

Grins Steffanie . " Don't worry boss I' ll hook you up with Miss Universe . "

Steffanie winked at Roland and the boys .

" Really ? "

" Really boss . Now go back in your office and dream about what a

night tonight will be . " Giggles Steffanie .

" Yeah boss - you go and relax , cause tonight will be something you

will never stop thinking about . " Laughs Roland smacking Jake

on the back .

The group returns to the kitchen .

" Man ... I hope I didn't make a mistake by accepting their invitation " ,

says Jake to himself in his office . Jake stares at his wall where he has a

picture of his mother hanging up and she is pointing at him . " I mean

what is the worst that could happen to me ? " Laughs Jake . He lays his

head on his desk .

" What are you looking at you old fool " , asks Roland to Charles .

Charles stood up and took his last sip of coffee . " You kids ! When

are you going to grow up ? Blah ! " Charles leaves the donut shop .

" That old man sucks ! " Laughs Tim .

All four began laughing as soon as they stepped inside the kitchen .

" I can't believe he agreed to this ... what a loser " , said Ross while

throwing eggs at Tim .

" Hey ! You ass ! " Tim took some dough and threw it at Ross .

Ross laughs and keeps throwing eggs at him . Mike was minding his

own business playing with his gameboy while Steffanie and Roland were

kissing eachother wildly . After a couple of minutes of Jake resting in his

office and thinking about tonights activity he got out of his chair and

decided to go check on his employees . Jake skipped out his office and

kept on skipping to the kitchen and Jim saw him .

" Hey boss - what is wrong with you ? " Jim puts the mop down

and walks towards Jake .

Jake skipped to him . " I am so excited about tonight , you have no

idea how I feel . Nothing this good has ever happened to me . " Smiles

Jake at him shaking him uncontrollably .

" Yo boss . Hey boss ... you are giving me whiplash ! "

Jake let go of him . " I am sorry Jim , it's just that I am overly thrilled

about tonights little get away that I can't seem to control myself . "

I have so many stories . I get frustrated . When I want to write I can't cause my kids are doing their things ...

But this is just the begin for me with my writings .

" Well sir , what is it that you will be doing tonight ? "

" What do you mean ? " Jake fixed his eye wear .

" I don't have a clue as to what is going on tonight . "

" You didn't get invited to tonights event ? "

" No sir . Nobody has said anything to me about anything . "

His eyes were watery .

" Oh well , don't worry I'll invite you . " Grins Jake slightly punching

Jim on the shoulder . Jake goes inside the kitchen to see what the group

was up to . Jake opens the kitchen door only to see that there was eggs

all over the floor and flour spread on the fryalator machine . He saw Ross

and Mike goofing around while Steffanie and Roland were making out and

Tim was playing with his gameboy . Jake's jaw dropped to the floor .

" What in the world is this mess ? What is going on ? And why are we not

working here ? "

Everyone in the kitchen froze . No one said a word .

Jake taps his foot and that's all that was heard in the kitchen .

" Yes - I am waiting for a response ... anyone ? "

" Oh look what time it is ? " Smiles Ross .

With hands on his hips Jake asked , " Yeah and what time is that " .

" Time for break . " Grins Ross .

" You can all take that break and not come back for the rest of the

day . "

Steffanie jumped up . " Yeah ... hurray ! Good , this way I can go find

you a date boss " , she says winking at Jake and walked out the kitchen .

" Cool boss thanx " , said Roland . He followed Steffanie out the

kitchen smacking her on the butt .

" That is the best news you've given us since ... hell , I don't

remember . " Laughs Ross leaving the kitchen .

" Boss , you'll never regret tonight . " Smiled Tim and followed the rest

out the donut shop .
