Ok, heres my theory. In the maze. . . Hary encounters an acromatula. Which according to "Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them" utilizes a deadly, poisonus, secretion. If you recall Harry noticed a "secretion" next to the OPEN WOUND on his leg. . . Theres been sufficient evidence that Harry in immune to poisons (he was bitten by a basilisk after all his body with the help of phoenix tears has probably developed the immunity.) Well. . . we must take into account how much DD knows about the maze, and what was in it. It's probably safe to assume that he knew Harry had to encounter an acromantula.
Anyway, Voldy used Harry's POISONED blood to create his new body!

One of the biggest arguments against this theory, is that the accromantula was not put into the movie. . . but do the writers know whats gonna happen in later books?

This is the link to the other Harry Potter thread that was started strickly discussing HBP, there are alot of good theories on there. And some interesting tidbits that may not have been noticed.

http://www.jimcarreyonline.com/forum/vi ... sc&start=0

Now I have another theory to introduce. . . Dmbledore MAY not be dead.
When he was killed he was "Blasted off of the tower." Here's the kicker, the Avada Kedavra doesn't "blast" anything it just drains the life out of a person. There is no force behind it. Snape as you prolly know, was good at non-verbal spells. Could it have been possible that Snape was using a DIFFERENT NV spell while merely speaking Avada Kedavra?? DD's body was replaced with a dummy.

Theres also a theory that I'm not sure I believe, but it is supported by the text. . . DD didn't take Harry to the Cave. . .it was Slughorn all polyjuiced up. DD and Slughorn planned it. . . I'm still trying to find a motive for DD agreeing to this. But Slughorns motive may have been as simple as feeling guilty for telling Tom about horcruxes. Which brings up another important detail, if this were true it wouldv'e put Slughorn on the tower.

When asked if DD was really dead JKR said "The old man in the beard in truly dead." Someone in a beard died, I like how she side-stepped saying DD's name. . .Interesting.

These two theories are tied together.

There are problems. . . like if DD survived then why didn't Snape die? There is so much unknowns about the unbreakable vow, not to mention loopholes. . . he just took a vow to protect Malfoy, He kept his word. Malfoy was supposed to kill DD. Can the unbreakable vow be fooled by a staged death?

Although I think Dumbledore is dead there is some substance to this theory.
If Snape did a non verbal spell which did not Kill dumbledore, I think the fall off the tower killed him. Even if Snape did not intend for this to happen the spell along with the fall killed him, therfore the Unbreakable vow was fulfilled. [/b]

Good good. Here I go again, I dont like how they've made Dolores Umbridge its too far from how I imagined her. She looks too nice. I hoped she would look more sinister because she does some things that even Snape hasnt done to harry, in their detentions. Maybe she'll have a sort of duel personallity in the actuall film :D
